ISLAMABAD - The Auditor General has said in his report that Sindh government has broken all regards of financial irregularities and that no department is safe from the irregularities, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
According to the Budget Audit 2013-14 report exclusively obtained by Dunya News, Auditor General has termed Sindh government’s performance as substandard.
The report says that the Sindh government has broken all previous records of financial irregularities and that no department is safe from those irregularities.
The report comprises 450 pages. This is despite Auditor General’s complaint that various departments of Sindh government did not provide financial details.
It says that the Chief Minister’s Secretariat did not provide details of billions of rupees.
It went on to say that the Public Accounts Committee did not do anything and that there were clear irregularities in transfers and recruitment in the province.
