ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday stated that according to media reports, the person who fired gunshots on PTI workers in Faisalabad has been arrested.
“I am afraid he might be killed in police custody,” the PTI chief told media in Islamabad.
He said that those who say PTI wants politics of dead bodies are mentally corrupt.
Core point behind our protest is rigging, which has been alleged by all political parties of Pakistan, Imran Khan stated.
“Why would someone need to hide behind stay order if there were free and fair elections,” he asked.
Khan said it is unprecedented in world s history to hold a continuous sit-in for more than 118 days.
“We have taken back the resignation demand, all we want is investigation of rigging in 2013 general election,” he added.
He also condemned killing of MQM’s Sialkot District Vice President Rao Anwar, adding that it is the responsibility of Punjab Govt to ensure law and order.
He said each and every citizen of Faisalabad, even a kid, knows the reality of former Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah.
Imran Khan said that government backed out of its previously agreed points that is why his party has decided to come out on streets to raise pressure.
