WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - The International Cricket Council says New Zealand allrounder Kane Williamson has been cleared to resume bowling off-spin after completing remedial work to correct an illegal action.
Sri Lanka s Sachithra Senanayake has also been cleared after being reported for an illegal action during a one-day match against England in June.
Williamson has been suspended for five months during which he has remodeled his bowling action.

In a statement Tuesday, the ICC said "following remedial work and a re-test, the bowling actions of Sri Lanka s Sachithra Senanayake and New Zealand s Kane Williamson are legal and they can now resume bowling in international cricket."
