PTI and Govt Formally Resume Dialogue


ISLAMABAD – Formal dialogue between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government resumed on Sunday and both sides proposed reconciliation formulas, Dunya News reported.
Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the icebreaking has taken place while PTI General Secretary Jehangir Tareen said that issues will be resolved through dialogue.
According to the details, the round of dialogue between the government and PTI took place at Jehangir Tareen’s residence in Islamabad.
Talking to the media following the dialogue meeting, Dar said that the government is pursuing dialogue in good faith, adding that the government wants the break in the dialogue to end.
He said leaders from either side should not use foul language against the other.
Jehangir Tareen said that reconciliation formula from both sides has been exchanged and that PTI expects development in dialogue on Tuesday.
Ahsan Iqbal said that the politics of aggression has to go now and that the politics of results should be demonstrated.
