Will End Protest as Soon as Judicial Commission is Set: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said that PTI will quit protests as soon as the judicial commission comes in effect.
He said that PTI is only asking for accountability of election 2013.
Talking to press after party’s consultation meeting, Khan said that those who stole people’s mandate will be brought to justice. He said the constitution says that only transparent elections form governments.
He said the steps taken by a government formed as result of rigging are also unconstitutional.
PTI chief said that he believes that ‘historic fraud’ was committed in the election, adding that they are asking for only one day of sacrifice from Lahoris.
He said this protest is for the future of the country and not for just one party.
Imran Khan appealed traders of Lahore to offer the ‘sacrifice’ for one day, adding that PTI will not put pressure on anyone to close their businesses for the day.
He said reports of two constituencies have started arriving, adding that he regrets that the arrival of reports took 1.5 years.
